Our Horses Reins of H.O.P.E is located in scenic Ojai, California. Our facility is secluded on an acre nestled among the sweet aroma of orange trees and surrounded by the majestic Chief Peak and the Topa Topa Mountains. Ojai is known as the original Shangri-La. |

Star At the age of twenty four, Star is our experienced older horse. He has many surprising facets which emerge in sessions, as well as in his interactions with other horses. He works now only as a psychotherapist as he has arthritis in his front legs. However he can still race around the arena at times and get all four feet off the ground! |
Chrome Chrome is extremely perceptive and tuned in to people. He is a dedicated psychotherapy horse, as he cannot be ridden. He had been a ranch horse in Colorado until an accident where he fractured a bone in a front leg. He is now eleven years old. |
Sis Sis is a beautiful registered Arabian mare. She has been a national level show horse and a mother. She is a talented and very engaged psychotherapy horse as well as a spirited ride. Sis brings a wonderful feminine energy to the sessions. She is ten years old. |
